Spectacular light show at Harold Park's Tramshed

On Thursday 9 November 2012, Deborah Hutton hosted the launch of Eden at Harold Park at the historic Rozelle Tram Depot. Guests enjoyed cuisine by celebrity chef Guillaume Brahimi of Bennelong along with a Q&A session with Guillaume Brahimi and Kevin Thompson, who called the last race at Harold Park. Guests were entertained with a spectacular light show and performance by artist Brad Blaze.

Lord Mayor turns first sod at Harold Park

Sydney Lord Mayor Clover Moore turned the first sod at Harold Park, signalling the beginning of construction at the city’s most significant new residential development. The ground breaking ceremony comes two years after Mirvac acquired the site from the NSW Harness Racing Club. The shovel used by Lord Mayor Clover Moore to turn the first sod at Harold Park was in use at Harold Park 40 years ago and is estimated to have been used to clear the track for around 32,000 harness races.
